The Camino de la Dehesa – Fuente de los Hornaos route begins next to the Viñas Arias sports complex, 1 km from Casarabonela, and follows the old Dehesa trail. The route winds through limestone terrain, amid pine forests, karst formations, and ancient cobblestone sections that hint at its possible Roman origins.

After the initial climb, the route joins the Sierra Prieta forest trail, where you can enjoy sweeping views and several intersections with other trails. At Llano de la Chacha, the descent begins toward the Fuente de los Hornaos, a spring with a fountain surrounded by reeds, oleanders, and vegetation typical of wetland areas.

The trail continues alongside the Tajo del Naranjal and the Llano Cristóbal mountain hut, whose lookout point offers a magnificent panoramic view of the Guadalhorce Valley and Casarabonela. The route ends with a descent toward the village, known for its fountains, niches, the Chorrerón, and its unique Cactus Museum.
