The Fuente Nueva fountain in El Burgo is located on the outskirts of town, on livestock trail No. 3, known as the “Cañada Real de Cuevas al Serrato y Málaga,” 500 meters from the town center.
The fountain is built against a wall and consists of two main elements that remind us of the Albar de Alozaina fountain, namely, a small pillar with two spouts from which the water flows, followed by an elongated pillar that served as a watering trough for the numerous animals and livestock that passed through the area daily. The structure is covered by a simple single-slope roof with black roof tiles, supported by two brick pillars.
