The route starts at Calvario, heading toward the sports center, and enters the El Coto recreational area. From there, it follows a stone path alongside the irrigation ditch, winding through patches of Mediterranean forest, until it joins the trail leading to the source of the Molino River, where you can fill up on water.
The route continues uphill along a forest trail and old paths, crossing the Vieja Stream and passing by the El Tajarillo rock formation. Further on, the trail levels out among terraced olive groves and offers views of Plaza de Armas and the southern slope of Torrecilla.
After crossing the Castaño Stream, you reach the Cirolá Pass, where the trail narrows and requires caution. The final stretch leads to the Cañada del Infierno and descends to the Istán-Monda trail. You can return via the same route, along the trail, or by arranging a pickup at this point.
The trail passes through El Coto and the headwaters of the Molino River before continuing on to the Arroyo de la Vieja and the base of El Tajarillo, a prominent rock formation.
The route continues toward the Cirolá Pass and reaches the Cañada del Infierno, where it connects with the Istán-Monda trail. You can return by the same path or by the trail.
